Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you accept boys and girls?
ABSOLUTELY! Basketball is universal! We don't even have to speak the same language to compete on the court. Boys and girls are both welcome to participate.
  • What are the age requirements?
We train athletes as young as six years old through the professional level. We are looking for athletes that have a desire to learn, tackle hard things and grow in the game.
  • How does the membership work?
We offer Unlimited Training Memberships in a Small Group setting. Athletes are allowed to attend training as often as their schedule allows. Click HERE for more details.
  • Does it matter if I’m new to basketball?
Nope! If you're just getting started, we think this is the best way to begin! That way we can teach you correctly from the beginning. You'll learn a ton about the fundamentals of the game and a ton about your body! You cannot control the basketball unless you learn to control your body first. Our development program is perfect for all athletes as young as six years old.
  • How much does it cost?
Iconic Sport Performance is a membership based facility because consistency itself is what guarantees growth in the game. This program offers both three month, and six month training memberships. Ultimately, the longer you commit, the more you save. Click HERE for rates and details on each program.
  • Do you offer family discounts if purchasing multiple memberships?
Of course we do! An additional sibling can be added to any membership for only an additional $150 per month.
  • Do you offer payment plans?
Always! We want to assist all student-athletes with a passion for the game. Membership dues can be submitted bi-weekly, monthly, 50% upfront, or paid in full (with access to further savings).
  • Is your training program year round?
Absolutely! Scheduling for us is the easy part! A part of our mission is to educate. Time management is a vital skill of a student-athlete. We teach our athletes and parents how to manage pre-season, in-season, and post season schedules. While prioritizing individual skill development to aide in performance. What is most important in this process though is rest and recovery! All parts are considered in our training program. The focus, discipline, structure and goal setting you learn at ISP are life skills that our athletes take beyond the game. Many of whom have since gone on to become doctors, entrepreneurs, and coaches themselves.
  • How many training sessions can I attend?
With the Unlimited Training SG membership you have access to EVERY class on the schedule. There are a minimum of 16 training dates available each month. With multiple times available for each skill level to best accommodate our members schedules. We require a minimum of two 60 min sessions per week to ensure growth.
  • Do you offer personal training?
We do not offer personal training. Basketball is a team sport. For personal development, as well as overall player development we have found that the most progressive growth for our athletes is in a small group learning environment. As needed we will set up 1-on-1 sessions to work on additional skills if an athlete is "behind" and needs additional assistance, or simply could use a confidence boost. Though this is rarely needed with the groups being split based on skill level. Our program is designed to cover all fundamental variables and to regress or progress based on the needs of the student-athletes individually. Our trainers are experts that can accommodate the needs of all athletes from the "raw" beginner to the experienced pro.
  • Does my location, school, or team matter?"
Anyone can join our community. ISP is a private training facility specifically designed with the athlete and their families in mind. Overall our mission is to educate both the parent and student-athlete on the business of sport and ways to navigate the sport industry. For many of us (even if we don't know it) this begins at the rec league level. Though basketball is a team sport, the success of each student-athlete long term is their sole responsibility. Think about it before we make the team we tryout, alone. Therefore developing the necessary skills and overall mindset to be successful will increase opportunities longterm. Our professional training staff is here to guide each family in that process. Athletes as far as Greenville, Hilton Head, Darlington, and Sumpter frequent our classes as well as those from various schools and travel ball teams in the area to grow in the game.
